RE: SEA EAGLE Inflatable boat

We have ours for about 5 years. 10ft Fisherman's dream. We have a 1/2 hp 12lb Cruise and Carry motor and it works well for us. I would not leave it inflated and in the sun all the time though. We also have the floor boards and stern seat but no bimini top.

RE: Qustions for Pull-rite Superglide Owners

Everything shadoow said. I use the white lithium grease in a spray can wipe off the dirt and spray the rails lightly before towing. WD 40 on the fitch plate and head. I have a garbage bag tie with a loop to take up some of the slack on the umbilical.

RE: 3/4 ton suburban....What dry weight do u consider max

I would also look at the GVWR of the TT not the dry weight. I would think you would want to be under 7500 or 7700 to stay under your vehicle tow rating fully loaded. That should put you in the dry weights of just under 6000lbs.

RE: Awning conditioning

Reliable rv cleaner works well. Also you can use one of the awning cleaners. Make the awning wet spray with the awning cleaner and roll it up for about half an hour. Unroll it and hose it off.

RE: Viny Roof

Fire5er. I don't know how many companies are offering the Vynal roof now. I know or Forest River TT had it and Carriage, Teton and I suppose others are changing to it. It's easier to maintain and ther's no chalking like on the rubber roof. Life span is about equal.

RE: Screen Door Kit

I just measured the opening of the screen and aded 1/2 inch all the way around went to Ace hardware and had them cut it. Then I added a white velcro strip all the way around. Same with the top section but used a scribe to radius the top corners and added the velcro. Total time including the trip to the hardware store 1 1/2 hours. It's not a big deal.

RE: Question on Super Glide hitch

I also use the white lithium on the rails and don't have a problem with it. There may be some wear on the hitch head but that only comes from hooking and unhooking. A little WD 40 works for that.

RE: "The Cosmetics"

Ps I forgot Excel's, & Escalades. Nice units also. The thing is you have a lot of research to do. So plan on a lot of RV shows and make notes of what you like so you don't forget. When we went to another show and found somthing better than we saw before we threw all the old stuff out and built on the new discovery. You can get get a lot of info here but you have to make the descisins based on whta you see and feel and whta we think. Good Luck. and have fun searching we did.

RE: "The Cosmetics"

Sounds pretty much like our Cameo 35FD3. Corian counters, we don't like leather so we got fabric sofa and recliner, wired for genset, closet as you come in door, glass doors between bedroom and bath, closet for wd in the bathroom. Check out Carriage, Deluxe Suites, Hitch Hiker, Teton, and a few of the other upscale brands.

RE: Any tips for deep fried turkey?

What nohandles said but I would add don't do it indoors or even next to a building. If you doing it on the driveway or patio put some aluminum pans or an oil absorbent mat under the burner. Good luck.
